Reading Wednesday
Apr. 1st, 2020 12:40 pmCurrently Reading: Republic of Thieves by Scott Lynch. I can't remember much about the previous two novels that came before this, so at first I was a little lost, but I'm about 300 pages in now, and so obviously I didn't let that stop me. Anything with Locke and Jean doing their thing (scamming and tricking and so on) is always a good time. I can't believe I took so long to get around to this - I think it might be because the book is pretty heavy and not optimal for taking to work. Something like that.
Reading Next: Not sure. Here are some possibilities from the to-read pile -
+ Post Captain by Patrick O'Brian. I've already read Master and Commander.
+ Sweden in the Seventeenth Century by Paul Douglas Lockhart
+ Egil's Saga. Actually I think I might have read this once? Can't remember though.
+ The Halcyon Fairy Book by T Kingfisher
+ Tove Jansson: Life, Art, Words by Boel Westin. So far this one is looking like the most likely 'reading next' candidate.
