Almost finished one of my auction fics. Almost...!!
Of course, it's the really short one that I offered for FFOZ (up to 2k), but hey, knocking it off the WIP list is going to feel so good.
Going to ask one of the people that I won beta services from to take a look at it. The thought makes me so nervous! I'm not accustomed to asking people that I don't know to look at my stuff before posting.
It's not like I have anything to
worry about - these people all seem perfectly nice, and I'm sure it'll be just fine, especially since I just want a quick typo-check rather than anything in-depth - but there's still a huge part of me that is like, "Oh nooooo!" over the very concept.
Brains are ridiculous.
Ah, well. I'm looking forward to being done. (And I'm sure whichever of the people I ask to beta will be happy to cross
that off their pending tasks list, too.)

Speaking of fan auctions, there's still time to sign up for
equalityauction, benefiting BLM-related causes. June 19 is the last day to put in offers for fanwork/fan services, so if you've been meaning to add an offer and haven't done it yet, please get it in before offers close and bidding opens.
There are a lot of neat things up already in both the auctions and the BIN offers, which is really awesome! But the more offers there are, the better. :D
