+ Wrote a little today. Made some progress. Not sure how I feel about what I put down, but Words Were Written, and that's the important thing. Feeling a little unsure about the period I'm setting this thing in - it's a bit outside my typical area. Might need to do some research in Norwegian. And that would be interesting, and also useful practice, but I've been so braindead lately that the thought is a little, well....

+ The snow is melting and I'm finally able to take my walk outside. There are some places that are still too icy to go, but overall, I'm happy. Of course, we could still get a blizzard dumped on us tomorrow, but y'know. And now... Geocaching plans. Trying to strategize for that is an adventure. "How early in the morning should I go in order to ensure the ground will be frozen enough to reduce the amount of mud I'll be dealing with?" Ahhh, northern Alberta.

+ Been feeling a lot of what I can only describe as "vague, wrathful despair". Which -- well. It isn't very useful to feel that way; not for me, not for anyone else. The best way I can think of to handle it is throw myself into my offline hobbies and hope my brain sorts itself out, but in the meantime, it's a real pain in the ass. But probably a lot of you are feeling similar, too.
