There are people who dislike Tom Bombadil?? He's one of my favorite characters in LotR. Unlike anyone in the West, I read the book after watching the first film, and I was so happy to discover all the "book-only" content. Plus I love characters that are a bit too meta and too overpowered to even participate in the action. Tom: definitely up my alley.
