yuuago☆ My new lamp arrived! Hooray! It's kind of cheap-looking, however, it is very effective at doing its job. Holy shit, my room has never been so bright. I CAN SEE. I CAN READ WITHOUT WORRYING I'LL GO BLIND. Amazing.

☆ I am still sick, and spent most of the weekend in bed, alternating between sleeping and blowing my nose. Fun. The human body has so many ways of being disgusting, guys. :| Hopefully that's on its way out, though. (I'm never going to make my wordcount target for the month at this rate. ;p )
☆ In two weeks, I'll be going to the ballet with C! :D This is doubly exciting because 1. I usually have to go to stuff like this alone, and 2. ballet acts never come up here. We're going to go see Ballet Jorgen's performance of Anne of Green Gables. Should be fun!
☆ My parents have been cleaning out the spare room, and found a box of photos/scrapbooks/miscellaneous very old stuff from my father's side of the family. One of the things in it was a packet of letters one of his relative received from a friend on active service in South Africa during the Boer War. It's been pretty interesting to read through them!
