A series of pluses and minuses

+ I managed to finish all the tasks that I wanted to do today! (Including several things before I even had breakfast. I feel accomplished!)
+ The stuff I took to the tailor's for alterations is finished and it looks great! These were my favourite dress clothes, and I was so upset that they were too big now, so I'm happy (and relieved). This was the first time I'd had anything done besides hemming/zipper replacements/etc, so I was a little worried that it wouldn't come out right.
+ Made ginger cookies. They turned out wonderful. (Will type up the recipe to share later. If I remember.)

- Probably should have relaxed a little more instead of running around so much; I'm very tired.
- Didn't get any writing done today. Sadface! I have this one thing that's almost drafted but not quite....
- Dropped my ipod touch on a concrete floor; now the screen won't turn on. Bloody hell. Hopefully there's somewhere in town that can repair it, if not, I'm going to be so sad. I use this thing on a daily basis and it's such a bummer that they're discontinued.

Since it works very similar to a phone, I'm assuming that one of the phone repair places can handle it - they probably get this kind of issue all the time. We'll see!
