Ballet Jörgen's Cinderella

Went to Ballet Jörgen's performance of Cinderella tonight!

It'd been a long day, and I almost considered skipping it, but I'm so glad I did go. Very good performance! It was light, fun, and didn't overstay its welcome.

The dancer for the character of Cinderella was great, but the women playing the two Stepsisters were the best part - they really stole the show. They had very comic choreo, and the shenanigans between those two, as well as them + their dates at the ball, was absolutely hilarious.

(Also, there's this one dance between the Fairy and the Prince, in which she's testing his love for Cinderella by tempting him for a kiss, and like... whew. That scene. That was one very sexy dance.)

So far I've seen three different performances by this company - Anastasia, Anne of Green Gables, and now Cinderella - and you know, I think Cinderella was my favourite of the three.

Anyway! Yeah, this was great. Definitely recommend seeing this one if the opportunity comes up.
